Q: How do I get a ring tone onto my iPhone?
A: Once you have started the application, choose the "Select Audio File from My Computer" option. Locate the file you would like to convert and select "Open". Once the file is processed and loaded into Ring Factory make sure that you select the "iPhone M4R" tab at the bottom left of the application. Select the portion of the song that you want to use as your ring tone (make sure that it is no longer than 40 seconds) and select the "Save to Computer" option. Select the location where you would like to save the file and make sure the "Save as type" is set to "iPhone (*.m4r)" and hit the "Save" button. Next, open iTunes and drag this song into your iTunes Library>Ringtones section (This is available in version 7.7 of iTunes). You can rename the file however you would like it to appear on your iPhone. Once that is complete, select your iPhone in iTunes and go to the Ringtones section. Select the ringtones you would like to sync to your iPhone and hit the "Sync" button. The ringtone should now be on your iPhone under the Settings>Sounds>Ringtone>Custom section.
